Blue Ribbon Beer

Pabst’s success at beer competitions prompts the hand-tying of blue ribbons on every bottle neck. This lead to the name change from Best Select to Blue Ribbon Beer in 1898 (and the first epidemic of carpal tunnel syndrome).
